Key Personnel
Jim Terr
writer / producer
I have acted in and written numerous productions, both film and theater. I am trained as a journalist (Northwestern University), and have worked some in that area, but mainly have been "free-lance creative", with an emphasis on video / documentary in the past decade. I have produced many advertising jingles (some national), songs which have appeared in films, etc. I have over 400,000 YouTube views of my short videos on various topics.
I was raised in New Mexico, and have lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 22 years. I have received numerous awards and kudos, some of which you can see here: http://bluecanyonproductions.com/jim.html#quotes and some of which you can see here: http://bluecanyonvideo.com
Outreach/Engagement Plan(s)
Personnel at KUNM-FM who initiated this project are still supportive, and will assist in notifying other public radio stations of availability of program for download. There are other radio theater sites which would also publicize. MOTHER JONES magazine has offered to publicize. I can publicize excerpts via my extensive YouTube audience (I have over 400,000 views of my material to date). So I think that getting word out to all possibly interested radio stations will not be difficult. Several audio copies (CDs) with educational / background materials will be sent to all state libraries in the US, thereby effectively making CDs available to every library and public school in the US. This is a program which really "brings history alive."Funders

Short Synopsis
2-to-3-hour radio drama dramatizing life and labor struggles of Mary "Mother" Jones, particularly the "Ludlow Massacre" at the John D. Rockefeller mine. And contemporary storyline reflecting her legacy on local community involved in the conservative-versus-liberal "talk radio wars." Also deals with the origin of PR ("spin"), based on historical character, Ivy Lee, arguably first modern PR man.
