GUN, HAT... is an experimental film in five sections, each three and a half minutes long. It is a compendium of narrative film using only its iconic elements: a gun, a hat, low-key lighting, screams, and a sexy lady. Shot on black and white 16mm film, GUN, HAT... recalls film noir and its surrounding fantasies of nostalgic return.

Luang Prabang Film Festival

The annual Luang Prabang Film Festival (LPFF) will present 30+ films on a Southeast Asian theme to tourists and locals over 8 days in December 2010, marking the 35th anniversary of the Lao PDR and Luang Prabang's 15th year on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. The screenings will take place in 4 venues (2 indoor, and 2 outdoor) in the ancient capital of Laos. After the main festival, the top 4 award-winning films will tour 5 other major provinces in Laos, with screenings and mini-festivals held over 2-day stops in each city.

A feature documentary about filmmaker Jon Goldman's attempt to understand his family's connection to oil and the film Louisiana Story.  Using Robert J.Flaherty's classic film as a point of reference he returns to the bayou sixty years later and discovers the price of progress on the land and its people.
