While the Internet and digital technology allow anyone today to create and distribute video, what is missing is the strong commissioning editor and collaborative atmosphere ofthe TV LAB that nurtured memorable video art, revolutionary documentary, experimental drama and led to extraordinary careers.

Frustrated by a stagnating government bureaucracy that has failed to protect these people, Kirk Johnson begins compiling a list of the names of our “Iraqi allies” and, one by one, helping them find refuge and a new life in America.

Shop Till You Drop is a documentary that investigates our problematic habit of overconsumption, its consequences and solutions for the problem. The film suggests a need for financial literacy education especially for teens, minorities and women, and introduces some of the most innovative and effective methods that have transformed people's lives.

Shop Till You Drop is produced in collaboration with Make A Difference Media, a 501(3) non-profit organization based in Tampa, Florida.
